As a community of loving followers of Christ, members of LUMC actively work in the community to help the hungry and less fortunate. Every second Monday and fourth Wednesday of the month, dedicated LUMC parishioners carpool to The Community Food Bank of New Jersey in Hillside, NJ and help package food for distribution and stuff and label newsletters to mail to others to let them know about the Food Bank.

 

It's a rewarding experience for the group to know that they are doing their part to help stamp out hunger, and you can do your part too! Anyone who would like to join LUMC's Food Bank helpers is more than welcome to, and will be blessed for doing so.
